Lawyer Hu Ming, Chairperson of DHH Partners' Meeting and Director of the DHH Research Institute, delivered the opening address. In her speech, Director HU reviewed the development of the DHH Academic Summit and the DHH Research Institute over the past five years, expressed gratitude to the experts and scholars present, and sincerely hoped that everyone could deepen understanding, exchange ideas, and jointly promote the development of the legal profession and the progress of the rule of law construction through the event. Professor JIAO Hongchang stated in his speech that he had truly felt the influence of DHH lawyers in legal research and expressed his respect and best wishes. Mr. KANG Yu, praised DHH's annual academic feast in his speech, wishing the firm to make persistent efforts in the direction of internationalization and make new contributions to the construction of the country's foreign-related rule of law. Dr. LIU Kejiang, President of Beijing DHH Law Firm and Director of the Academic Advisory Committee of the DHH Research Institute, announced the award list. Director Liu extended heartfelt gratitude to all lawyers who actively contributed submissions, and paid tribute to the judges for their diligent efforts in the selection process. The morning academic report and professor commentary session was hosted by Dr. JIANG Bo, Executive Director of DHH Research Institute. Senior Equity Partners from DHH and Deheng's branch offices across the country—Lawyer HUANG Zhenda, Lawyer YANG Guangming (Senior Equity Partner and Dean of the DHH Research Institute's Greater Bay Area Branch), Lawyer LIN Qian (Senior Equity Partner and Secretary-General of the Business Center), Lawyer ZHANG Ning, Lawyer ZHANG Zhong, and Equity Partner DONG Yanqing—successively shared their reflections in the field of legal studies and practical experience gained in judicial practice. Professors LI Shouping, SHEN Weixing, YAO Guojian, XI Yuemin, ZHENG Zhihang, and XIE Hongfei commented on the six lawyers' reports by integrating their own reflections on related issues in legal research and cutting-edge academic theories, demonstrating solid academic proficiency and unique theoretical insights. Professors LI Xiuna, YUAN Zhijie, WANG Jinxi, CAI Chang, and Researcher LIU Jingdong, along with DHH's Senior Equity Partners Dr. CHEN Yanhong, Lawyer MA Lihong, DING Xu, XU Hongliang, FANG Litang, and ZHAO Ying, combined existing legal theories with their practical experience to comment on the six report themes, fostering academic exchange and innovation. Building on the foundation of the first five sessions, the 6th DHH Academic Summit leveraged its accumulated strengths to deliver a full-day main forum and two parallel forums, where participants delved into dozens of cutting-edge legal topics. Laywer DUAN Zhigang, Senior Equity Partner of DHH and Director of the DHH Research Institute's Jinan Branch, and Lawyer BAI Yaohua, Senior Equity Partner of DHH and Director of the DHH Research Institute's Shanghai Branch, served as moderators for the two parallel forums. As the event drew to a close, Professor CHENG Lei, Vice Dean of the Law School of Renmin University of China, delivered a concluding address for the entire academic event. Professor CHENG provided an impartial overall evaluation of the conference's presentations and offered constructive expectations, wishing DHH lawyers continued progress and anticipating an even more remarkable event next year. Dr. LIU Kejiang, President of Beijing DHH Law Firm and Director of the Academic Advisory Committee of the DHH Research Institute, delivered a concluding speech. He introduced that the annual conference featured 31 lawyer presentations and 36 professor/expert commentaries on site, marking a new record in the event's history. Going forward, DHH will continue to uphold the spirit of seeking truth and pragmatic innovation to make greater contributions to the academic field of legal practice. The firm will also further strengthen exchanges with experts and scholars from law schools, providing more employment and internship opportunities for young legal talents.
